Press Trust Of India:-
                                 Press Trust Of India is the largest news agency in India. Headquarter of PTI is situated in Delhi. It provides news and information to more than 450 Indian newspapers. PTI Has a staff of about 2000 writers spread across 150 offices in the nation. In 1910, the name of the PTI was Associated Press of India. In 1945, API registered as a private limited Indian company wholly owned by Reuters. After India's Independence Name of API replaced with PTI(Press Trust Of India). Press Trust Of India was Inaugrated on august 27, 1947 in Madras. PTI Started to provides their services from Feb 1,1949.PTI provides news and information in both languages English and Hindi.

PTI also exchange their information and news with other agencies based outside India like assuch as Associated Press, Agence France-Presse, The New York Times and Bloomberf L.P. TheTimes of India, The Indian Express, The Hindustan Times, The All India Radio and Doordarshan are the major subscribers of PTI.

Board Of Directors:- The Board Of Directors Of PTI are Mr Vijay Kumar Chopra (Chairman (Hind Samachar), Mr Vineet Kumar Jain (Vice-Chairman (Bennett, Coleman & Co Ltd)), Mr N Ravi (The Hindu), Mr K N Shanth Kumar (The Printers (Mysore)), Mr M P Veerendrakumar (Mathrubhumi), Mr Riyad Mathew (Malayala Manorama), Dr R Lakshmipathy (Dinamalar). Mr. V.K. Chopra Is Current Chairman Of Press Trust Of India.

How To Take Services:- The users and subscribers use the services of PTI from the Website http://www.ptinews.com/. PTI also provides the membership to the users to download and upload their data on the PTI's website.
